Replenished for Care is an education program for carers that is delivered over a series of 6 workshops. Alternative delivery including online or as a day retreat are also options, depending on the needs of each group.

The program was developed by the founder of The Sacred Nest, Cynthia Bartolo, with the compassion and understanding that only lived-experience as a carer can bring. Cynthia has combined this lived-experience with her background in food science and nutrition and experience in delivering trauma-informed polyvagal interventions to herself, her family and her clients, to create this unique program. She is passionate about empowering other carers in the community with knowledge and skills that will restore their energy and mental wellbeing to live a more fulfilling life alongside their caring role.

The program explores four key areas that that are interconnected to each other and important for carer wellbeing.

  1. The Vagus Nerve – its role in the body and importance during chronic stress
  2. Feeling Safe – understanding sensory preferences and triggers
  3. Food and Mood – research on food quality and mental wellbeing outcomes
  4. Centering Practices – such as meditation for self-care and balance

The first group was run in August 2025 with the support of a Moonee Valley City Council business grant, with great success! If you would like to learn more about the program for yourself, your organisation or a carer you know, fill out the contact form below.
